CSA Cargo’s new cargo terminal at Prague Ruzyne Airport will be approved for use on January 2004



Technological parameters

The capacity of the future terminal will be 60,000 tons per year – a German company, ALS Advanced Logistic Systems, will supply the technology. The main element of the technology is ETV, which isan automatic shelf stowing machine that will be used to stow loose cargo.  There will be a system of loading ramps, roller conveyors and storage space. All this will help smooth aircraft and truck handling. A parking bay for a cargo aircraft, a terminal for DHL and space for Czech Post will be important parts of the terminal.
