Air France Cargo & Delta’s customers: connect you on GF–X (Global Freight Exchange)

Air France Cargo and Delta Air Lines are  offering SkyTeam Cargo Products on GF-X, the premier neutral reservation system for forwarders and airlines.

Launched in October 1998, this particular platform is the most advanced of its kind in the air transport sector.  GF-X offers tremendous benefits in terms of fast, easy and cost efficient transactions. With GF-X, both carriers and forwarders can optimize their bookings as more time is spent on providing added value services to customers, and less time is spent on regular bookings.

Air France Cargo is now offering Dimension and Cohesion on GF-X to forwarders out of Paris, Germany, London Heathrow, Milan and Hong Kong.

United States, Japan, Singapore and Bangkok will be live on GF-X by the end of June 2003. Delta Air Logistics has been offering its products on GF-X to the US domestic market since February 2003.  SkyTeam Cargo products are also available through GF-X on Delta flights out of Germany, United Kingdom.  Delta will be expanding GF-X to more markets within the United States and Europe over the next few months.

Both airlines intend to offer on GF-X their full range of products.
